Engine specifications
Aerox 155 has a state-of-the-art engine which is directly derived from the og sports bike the Yamaha R15 which has the same specification of 155 cc liquid cooled 4 strokes 4 value fuel-injected engine that produces 15 ps at 8000 rpm and 13.9 nm at 6500 rpm which is mated to a v belt automatic gearbox which was already used in a bigger Yamaha T Max 560 maxi scooter and a compression ratio of 11,6:1 which is closer its sport bike category, this engine also supported to the latest E20 fuel. The most unique feature Aerox 155 has is that it is equipped with VVA variable value actuation which is the technology derived from superbike models like R1 with dual camshaft for low and top-end performance.
Chassis, suspension, and tyres
Aerox 155 is equipped with 26 mm telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear for excellent riding comfort. Coming to the tyres 110/80 14 tubeless tyres at the front and a fatter 140/70 14 rear for better grip and stability in rough and wet conditions.
Brakes are taken care of by a 230 mm disc at the front with ABS and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear which offers exceptional ride quality.
