Honda Amaze on April 23 global NCAP has tested for safety ratings for the 2024 model. Let’s dive deep into the details of the crash test 

Honda Amaze is a 4 seater sedan car with an 1199 cc 4 cylinder SOHC i VTEC petrol engine pumping out 89 hp at 6000 rpm and 110 nm at 4800 rpm mated to a 5 Speed gearbox.

Frontal offset deformable barrier test scores 13. 414 p with stable bodyshell integrity and crumpled gone strength, b pillar in the is not distributed or stressed. This segment of crash test is conducted at a speed of 64 km/hr.

Side movable barrier test scores 13.937 p with good side impact structural stability and protection, the head and pelvis area has good protection, and the chest and abdomen area has marginal ok protection.

On the front impact driver and passenger’s head and neck showed good protection with safety, knees also showed marginal protection but the chest area should have very little protection. This segment of crash test is conducted at a speed of 50 km/hr.

A side pole impact test is not conducted because the Honda Amaze does not support side head protection and no electronic stability control even as an option.

So overall the Honda Amaze scores 2 stars in the global NCAP crash test results.
