BMW has finally launched the new retro cruisers into the Indian market with two models

BMW R 12 Nine T and R12 Specifications
BMW R 12 and R 12 Nine T are powered by a
- Two-cylinder boxer engine
- 1170 cc
- 109 hp at 7,000 rpm

The main highlight of this bike is it is a shaft drive bike with the very characteristic boxer engine with a unique start-up as it moves to and fro when you start the bike. Boxer is an air-cooled / oil-cooled engine that is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a DOHC setup with a single disc dry clutch. R 12 Nine T has a full LED lighting system all around with dynamic braking light-led DRLs and a 12 v socket for charging the phone on the go.
Suspension and tires
Suspension duties are taken care of by 45 mm upside-down forks with fully adjustable functionality and a rear mono shock with fully adjustable suspension with 120 mm of travel in both front and rear.
The tires are a traditional 120/70 R17 at the front and 180/55 R17 at the rear with twin discs at the front with 310 mm of 4-piston monoblock radial calipers and a 265 mm 2-piston floating caliper at the rear with BMW Mottarad ABS.
