2025 BMW 3 series Specifications
Engine configuration
- 330i inline 4 cylinder engine
- 340i inline 6 cylinder engine
- 320d inline 4 cylinder Diesel engine ( details are yet to be announced)
Firstly we will checkout the 330i petrol engine which is a 2.0 liter engine pumping out 255 hp at 4700-6500 rpm and 400 nm of torque at 1600-4500 rpm mated to a 8 speed steptronic sporty gearbox. It has BMW twin turbo technology with variable value timing, variable camshaft timing with the new edition of 48 v mild hybrid technology which gives an additional boost of 11 hp to the engine.
The 340i and 340i xDrive models are powered by a 6 cylinder high performance inline motor which pumps out 386 hp at 5200-6250 rpm and 540 nm of torque mated to a 8 speed steptronic sporty gearbox. A 48 v starter generator gives a boost of 11 hp, 0 to 100 in just 4.4 seconds and 4.1 seconds in xDrive mode and a m sport exhaust which can go a top speed of 250 km/hr electronically limited.
Interior and exterior
BMW is known for its luxury appealing interior, with the new updates 3 series is more luxurious and clean to look with new curved display, clean cockpit, new steering wheel designs with illuminating paddle shifters and buttons. New mood lighting controls with colour and brightness adjustability with nine colour options. Welcome and goodbye feature with light signals outside and Apple carplay and Android auto are standard with BMW personal assistant.
On the exterior front 3 series gets new colours like Arctic race blue metallic and Vegas Red metallic, frozen pure grey metallic and frozen portimao blue metallic which is simply a glossy blue texture.
