The bike starts at idling 1500 rpm with a grunty, raw, and very rough base exhaust sound which is fantastic to listen to.

This is my the best-sounding bike in this segment.
Now coming to the driving part the bike feels very refined in its BS6 avatar right from 2500 rpm there is good low-end power till 5000 rpm with speeds reaching up to 80 kmph in 6th gear very easily. The mid-range starts from 5000 rpm to 7000 rpm there is a strong pull of power with the excellent soundtrack coming from the exhaust, you can overtake any vehicle in the midrange power. You can feel some vibration at 6000 rpm in the footpegs, handlebars, and rear seat which is okay but not affecting the riding experience past that, the engine pulls very cleanly from 7000 rpm to 9500 rpm where the maximum fun and full amount of power which is very exciting to ride. You will not be disappointed with the performance of NS200.
Touring and cruising speeds
You can cruise comfortably at 95 to 100 kmph in the 6th gear at 7000 rpm with good refinement, stability, and control. You can go long-distance touring with this bike all day long. As this is a liquid-cooled engine heating is taken care of.
Mileage and Tank Range
Despite its impressive performance, the Pulsar 200 NS remains fuel-efficient, offering a mileage of around 35 kmpl on the highway at a speed of 100 kmph and 30 to 36 kmpl in city conditions. Front suspension is an upside fork with a medium setting and not very stiff functioning and offers good feedback in the corners. The back suspension is a mono-shock that is soft with 5 step adjustable for preload setting
